I should know better

Ever have one of those "I should know better" moments? From the title of this entry you know I did! Shawn and I went out to lunch earlier this week to meet up with Krista. We all enjoyed some lovely Chinese food and I couldn't finish mine so I had it boxed up in a typical styrofoam container. Those of you who are aware a lot of Chinese dishes have a great deal of sauce. Also, styrofoam containers (think Teriyaki to go boxes if you are unfamilar) are not famous for keeping liquids including sauces within the containers themselves...

We eat lunch, pack up and leave. I of course was wearing an outfit that had no pockets and I was quickly running out of ways to carry loose items such as my wallet, my phone and my bag of leftovers. I hastily placed everything into the bag--and immediately had a "I should know better" moment but I did it anyway. Only a few short minutes later everything was covered in sauce -- including my Dash (the cell phone I use for work). Yippy!!

In other noteworthy news -- Joe took Chris and I to see RENT -- very entertaining. Mother's Day was fascinating with flowers and food. My dad is doing great -- you would have NO idea he had surgery. I even saw Jody and Sakeneh. Chris got sick and he's still getting over his illness, but at least I haven't gotten sick yet! In only a couple more weeks I am heading down to Burbank/LA to visit Heather. She was up here this past weekend to celebrate Mother's Day and we hung out for a few hours.

I recently purchased a new bicycle and I had toe clips placed on the pedals...and I had another "I should know better" moment; I hopped onto the bicycle, clipped my shoes into the pedals and for some reason, didn't pedal -- so I fell over! You'd think that I'd be smart enough to unclip myself from the bike, but no...and over I went.

Back to work...for now...
