Seattle is H-O-T!!!

I just came back to the office from a stroll to the Starbucks (needed an iced half-soy, half-milk venti chai...) with Shawn and MAN is it H-O-T!! I'd say it is probably 92 degrees out right now. Too hot for Seattle! I know, I shouldn't whine too much since in some parts of the US right now there are blackouts and people dying from the lack of electricity to run their air-conditioners... but you have to admit, it is still pretty hot for Seattle. We have a high humidity factor up here in the great northwest...so it leads to H-O-T!!

Why am I still in the office on such a great Friday? If I went home now my house is scorching hot, Chris is working late anyway so I figured I could get some random work done, earn a little overtime and stay cool in the nice air-conditioned building that is my place of work.

I haven't blogged in a while, what is new. I'll be playing in a Dominoes Tournament tomorrow.... we may end up staying in the Seattle area once Chris is done with his residency...my friend Heather is going to be up in Seattle in August so we can hang out and catch up...Joe spent the last few days in Las Vegas...and I think tonight is a steak night. Rib eye, please!

Ok, back to my random work tasks. Only a couple more weeks and I'll be heading off to Yellowstone for vacation. Yee-haw!
