Catching you up...
- Must be smaller than my existing cell phone (Sony Ericsson z500A)
- Must be able to ring and vibrate at the same time and also "vibrate when silent"
- Must not contain excessive psuedo-PDA capabilities (i.e. I don't want to walk around checking emails ala a Blackberry user)
I was initially only looking at other Sony Ericsson phones since I have had good experiences with their products in the past. I ultimately decided to purchase a Motorola SLVR L7. It met all of the requirements listed above and also passed the all too crucial "purse test". Ladies you know what I'm talking about. You have your cute little purse yet you still insist on trying to cram everything into it--wallet, lip balm, lip stick, pen, breath mints, cell phone, gum, etc. Well like I said, passed the purse test by a mile. Little did I care at the time that the SLVR plays iTunes--I have an iPod nano, that is small enough. I found out yesterday at work (I needed a pick me up before a meeting) that my phone plays iTunes without headphones--so my phone has turned into this mini-stereo. It is superb. I love it. Walking down the hallway with Thriller playing is a great eye-opener for some of my co-workers.
What else is going on. We had a nice Father's Day weekend--we split it up between Yakima and Redmond. Looking forward to our upcoming Yellowstone trip in August. I may be taking a trip to the Bay Area in July to visit Heather and go to a wedding. We'll see!
Work is fun as ever. I feel that all I ever do is go to meeting after meeting after meeting though. I don't know if other people attend as many meetings as I do. From what I understand and hear from my other friends, the answer is definitely NO. They don't understand why I go to so many meetings. Meetings make the world go round?
