as we know it

The ice is melting.

Today was the last official day to curl at the club. There was a volunteer bonspiel today (for those who have been volunteers at the club through-out the season), so it was small and intimate. I ended up curling with Sahara, Bob and Ian. It was a lot of fun as I've curled with Sahara before. I fell pretty hard on my knee, but I'll survive. I ended up making the take-out shot just the same though, so it was a temporary relief to my bruise.

We ended it with a tasty dinner and some Texas-style dominos, aka "42".

What else has been happening...so only one week left until vacation! This time next week I'll be far far away from work, which will be a good thing. I've been working a LOT. So many changes and so many new applications, I've been at work consistently for 10-11 hours a day for the past several weeks. Too much, darling--too much!

The weather around here has been spectacular but in typical Seattle fashion--it looks nice on the outside but it is still relatively chilly. It's 745pm right now and the sun is out :) -- yay!

Tomorrow....is Sunday. I want to sleep in and relax. Good times.
