Not sure where to begin!
So much has happened since I last blogged...
The bonspiel...I ended up on a team with my friend Joe and some other curlers who have had more years of curling under their belt. Overall we finished 1-3, but I had a lot of fun nonetheless. Chris was on a different team since he could participate on the first day of the bonspiel. :(
I can't get over that the Seahawks are going to the SuperBowl. My friend Annelise--her dad looks SO much like Mike Holmgren. The local paper (Seattle Times) was doing a fun thing where people could send in their look-alike photos of Mike Holmgren (Seahawk's Head Coach). Annelise told me that I was the 3rd or 4th person to email her asking her to submit a picture of her dad. Too funny, huh?
And my tooth...stupid teeth. Maybe my dad was right and when I was 13 I should have had all of my teeth pulled. I have sensitive teeth already so I thought that my teeth were just hurting...and then all of a sudden, I couldn't eat or sleep or for that matter--talk! I had to have an emergency root canal. It is only half-way done, I have to go back again (post-vacation) and then I get to have a crown. Yay!!!!!!!!
What else, oh vacation....Chris and I are heading down to the Oregon Coast...again, I know. But it is great FUN and it is nice and QUIET.
And Happy Chinese New Year, go out and eat noodles and meats.
I participated in my first Curling Bonspiel
The Seattle Seahawks have won the NFC Championship and are heading to the SuperBowl (amazing!)
I had to have an emergency root canal since I couldn't eat, sleep or drink
I found out my friend Andrew will be coming up to Seattle soon (yay!)
And today is the first day of my vacation.
