Heather is moving to LA!

My friend Heather has decided that she is going to be starting a new job in Los Angeles. She told me that she will still be working with mortgages--such awesome news for her! I'm happy and sad. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why. If you have ever had a good friend move away then you know what I'm feeling. She said that she'll be able to fly back to Seattle roughly once a month and in this day and age it isn't like we can't chat on the phone or via email/instant messaging.

Heather said that she is probably going to be moving at the end of February. Maybe I will be able to drive down with her, but it all depends on when exactly as our other friend Andrew will be in town from Alabama visiting! Andrew just bought his plane tickets and he'll be in Seattle for a whole week, so I'm really excited to see him.

Nothing new to add from the workfront, still doing my thing. Although I had a very interesting conversation with a co-worker of mine who kept talking about Red Velvet Cake..and now I have this anxious urge to try making some Red Velvet Cake. What am I going to do with a whole cake?
